One bot for the team, separate conversations for each person

SpaceXAI launched Team Bots on September 28, offering a shared-workspace model with a deliberate split: coworkers can draw on the same bot and team expertise, but their individual conversations stay private. The feature is now in public beta for Teams and Enterprise plans, according to the company’s announcement.

Each bot is designed around a role or recurring workflow rather than one employee’s personal use. Team members share access to its files, instructions and skills, while the bot keeps separate context and memories for each user. The arrangement lets teams pool knowledge without making every colleague’s one-to-one chat visible to the group.

The distinction matters for a product positioned as a workplace collaborator. SpaceXAI says each person’s context and memories remain separate while skills are shared across the team. Its Data Bot also remembers corrections to queries, so what it learns from one person can improve answers for everyone.

Slack, plugins and credentials connect bots to work

Team Bots combine four components: context such as files and internal documentation; plugins for apps including Salesforce, Notion and GitHub; credentials for third-party APIs without a plugin; and memories that help a bot retain what it learns. Plugins can be connected by individual users or configured for the whole team, the company says.

Teams can also invite a bot into Slack using its own handle. There, members can ask questions, contribute context and see its responses. That shared channel is distinct from the private conversations each person can have with the same bot.

The product announcement describes several internal uses. SpaceXAI says its sales teams assign a bot to each major account; overnight, it reviews company news, Gong calls, Notion documents and relevant Slack threads, then posts a morning briefing with suggested next steps. Account teams can use it through the day to discuss strategy and onboard colleagues rotating onto the account.

Engineering and marketing examples show how much access matters

For engineering work, SpaceXAI says its bot follows project decisions in Slack, triages bug reports, creates Linear tickets and launches Cloud Agents for defined fixes. The company says a five-person team used this setup while building Team Bots: the bot steered a Cursor Project coordinating hundreds of Cloud Agents, and the team shipped more than 100 pull requests a day. Those figures describe SpaceXAI’s own development process, not an independently measured customer result.

Marketing Bot reviews drafts against brand guidelines and current messaging, then can move approved website and search-optimization changes through preview and sign-off. Angela Ferrante, Head of Marketing at Amplitude, said:

“We’re building toward Team Bots for every marketing function. These Bots help us dig into market and customer intel, show up in AI answers, review launches, and tell us what’s working.”

The announcement also describes a customer bot built by Harper, an insurance company serving small businesses. It helps identify customers with lapsed policies and supports reinstatement. Harper CEO Dakotah Rice said:

“We initially had to manually check every customer through three platforms, get their balance details, and send them personalized emails. We built a Team Bot in 24 hours to automate this, saving our customers over $120,000 from hundreds of policies. This is now an ongoing engine for us, saving us time and our customers' money.”

Public beta begins on Teams and Enterprise

Customers on Teams and Enterprise plans can try the public beta now. SpaceXAI is also offering prebuilt bots for sales, product management, marketing and data analytics as starting points for team workflows.

The data analytics example shows how shared bot access can depend on carefully scoped connections: SpaceXAI says its internal Data Bot uses shared, read-only credentials to query approved Databricks tables, alongside connections to Datadog, Hex and Statsig. The company says its team supplied the bot with a library of skills built over two years for working across more than 45,000 tables.
