• Leverate Lets AI Assistants Connect Directly to Trading Accounts

  Leverate has launched MCP for Traders, a product that connects ChatGPT, Claude and other compatible AI assistants to live trading accounts. Traders can inspect positions and prepare orders inside a conversation, but each order requires explicit approval before execution.

• IBM Study Finds 60% of Employees Fear AI Skills Erosion

  An IBM Institute for Business Value study finds that 60% of employees worry AI is eroding their skills, with critical thinking cited most often. The survey also shows a gap between what CHROs say workers need and the skills employees prioritize.

• ChatGPT Identifier Appears in OpenAI Ad Pixel Traffic

  An investigation found that ChatGPT can issue an OpenAI identifier later sent from advertiser websites through the company’s measurement pixel. The researcher observed the mechanism across 936 pixels and 1,029 hostnames but did not verify a final account-level join.

• Equinix Raises Annual Data Center Spending Plan to $7 Billion

  Equinix plans to spend $5 billion to $7 billion a year on data center expansion from 2027 through 2029. The company says stronger bookings, presales and demand for AI infrastructure are driving the increase.

• Xi Proposes BRICS AI Open-Source Community in New Delhi

• California Extends Candidate Deepfake Ban Through 2031

• Amazon Ties Up to $8 Billion in Generac Data Center Power

  Amazon and Generac signed a long-term agreement for backup generators serving Amazon data centers, with initial deliveries expected to total $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028. The deal also gives an Amazon subsidiary a warrant for up to 1,693,745 Generac shares, with later vesting tied to payments that could reach $8 billion.

• Z.ai Built GLM-5.3-Flash’s Inference Stack on 100,000 AI Chips

• Gender-Coded Prompts Make AI Writing Less Formal, Johns Hopkins Finds

  Johns Hopkins researchers found that four AI systems produced shorter, less complex and less formal workplace writing when prompts used language associated with women. The study tested GPT-4, Llama, Gemma and Mistral on emails, job applications and resignation letters.
