Lattice
People management platform combining performance reviews, goals, engagement surveys, and AI-assisted feedback tools.

Lattice was founded in San Francisco in 2015 by Jack Altman and Eric Koslow, starting as a lightweight performance management tool built around continuous feedback and goal-setting rather than the once-a-year review cycles most companies ran at the time. The platform has since expanded into engagement surveys, compensation planning, career development, and an HR information system, positioning itself as a single system for the parts of people management that sat in spreadsheets or point tools like SurveyMonkey and standalone goal trackers. Lattice AI, layered across the platform, drafts performance review summaries from meeting notes and feedback logs, suggests development goals, and generates talking points for manager conversations. Lattice has raised more than $300 million, including a $175 million round that valued the company at $3 billion, from investors such as Tiger Global and Thrive Capital. Jack Altman stepped back from day-to-day leadership, and Sarah Franklin, a longtime Salesforce executive, became CEO in 2024.
