Navan
Corporate travel and expense platform combining flight, hotel, and card bookings with AI agents that automate expense reports and admin work.

Navan was founded in 2015 by Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig under the name TripActions, built around the idea that business travel booking and corporate card spend should live in one system instead of three separate vendors. The company rebranded to Navan in February 2023 as its expense and card products grew alongside the original travel booking tool, and it now serves finance and travel teams at companies ranging from startups to large enterprises. The platform lets employees book flights, hotels, car rentals, and rail within a company's negotiated rates and policy rules, while Navan-issued cards feed spend directly into automated expense reports. Recent additions include a Travel Admin Companion and Expense Admin Companion that let administrators ask plain-language questions about spend anomalies and savings opportunities, an AI booking flow called Book with AI, and Expense Chat, an agent aimed at eliminating manual submission of out-of-pocket receipts. Navan has raised roughly $1.58 billion across its funding history and completed its IPO on Nasdaq under the ticker NAVN in October 2025. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, and reports more than 3,400 employees as of 2026.
