Avoma

AI meeting assistant and revenue intelligence platform combining note-taking, scheduling, conversation coaching, and deal analytics.

Avoma

Avoma, short for "A Very Organized Meeting Assistant," was founded in Palo Alto, California in late 2017 by Aditya Kothadiya, Devendra Laulkar, and Albert Lai. The founders set out to reduce the manual overhead around meetings and sales calls — scheduling them, recording them, writing up notes, and later trying to remember what was actually agreed to. The product has grown into four connected pieces: an AI meeting assistant that joins calls to record, transcribe, and generate notes automatically; a scheduler and lead router for booking and pre-qualifying meetings; conversation intelligence for call coaching, talk-time analysis, and objection tracking; and revenue intelligence for deal and forecast tracking. Unlike some competitors, Avoma sells these as modular add-ons rather than one bundled price, which lets smaller teams start with just meeting notes and add coaching or forecasting later. Avoma has raised about $15 million, including a $12 million Series A in December 2021 led by Headline with participation from HubSpot Ventures and the Zoom Apps Fund, following an earlier $3 million seed round led by K9 Ventures. Aditya Kothadiya continues as CEO.
