“Every enterprise can now get access to powerful AI. The value comes when it runs inside the systems that run the business, under the company's own rules, and gets better every week. That is the work we do every day, and this funding lets us do more of it, in more markets, and more industries.”

Funding to take deployments into more markets

OneByZero announced on October 5 that it raised US$20 million in a Series A led by Jungle Ventures. The Singapore-headquartered company described the round as its first external funding. It plans to use the capital to expand its forward-deployed engineering teams, establish a local team in Japan, enter additional industries and develop its NEO platform and AI Coworkers.

The company says it already operates in nine markets: Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. Japan would be a new market for its model, in which engineers work alongside enterprise teams to build AI into existing systems and workflows, then continue running and improving deployments.

NEO puts governance inside the deployment model

OneByZero describes NEO as the platform and control layer behind its enterprise AI workforces. Its AI Coworkers are governed agents with defined roles and controls; the company says NEO includes reusable components and records each agent action. In its account of the model, AI handles high-volume work while people retain judgment and accountability.

“We have built NEO so companies can define what AI is allowed to do, where human judgement is required and how every system is governed. That foundation lets them introduce more capable AI without losing control.”

Vibhore Kumar, PhD, CTO and Co-Founder, OneByZero

The company says it will invest in industry templates for NEO and support customers building AI with open-weight and small language models.

Company reports automation and modernization gains

OneByZero says its deployments automate more than 90% of some customer-facing interactions and speed up delivery of complex data-modernization work by 50%. It also says revenue has more than doubled annually over the past three years. The announcement does not name customers or provide underlying project data for those figures, so they remain company-reported measures rather than independently detailed case results.

The company says it has spent those three years deploying AI in financial services, telecommunications and retail, including regulated organizations. The new funding is intended to extend that work into conglomerates, healthcare and the public sector, alongside the Japan expansion.

Jungle Ventures backs a services-led approach

Jungle Ventures Managing Partner Yash Sankrityayan said OneByZero had spent three years deploying AI in large organizations and delivering measurable results. He said the firm sees the company as positioned to serve businesses moving AI from experiments into core operations.

The announcement gives no company valuation and names no other participating investors. Its stated expansion agenda combines a larger engineering operation with a local Japanese team and further investment in NEO—the platform OneByZero uses to govern and maintain enterprise AI deployments.
