Wayve is hiring a Vehicle Performance Modelling Engineer in London, on-site, to build virtual vehicle models for its automated driving stack. The work covers physics-based and data-driven modelling of vehicles and subsystems, integrating models into software, validating them against on-road data, planning and analysing experiments, and evaluating vehicle performance. Applicants should have experience with mathematical models or simulation for vehicle dynamics, robotics or control, classical mechanics and numerical methods, and C++ or Python. Autonomy, motorsport or automotive vehicle dynamics work and machine-learning or system-identification modelling are listed as desirable.
