OpenAI seeks a US External Affairs Associate in Washington, DC, on a hybrid basis. The person will join the U.S. Policy and Partnerships team within Global Affairs, reporting to the External Affairs Lead. They will build relationships with civil rights, civil society, research, community, labor, education, and accessibility groups; design engagement plans; prepare briefings and explainers; and coordinate with internal policy, communications, legal, safety, product, and research teams.
