Waymo is hiring a technical lead manager to head the Collision Avoidance Testing Team inside Behavior Test Engineering, part of Systems Engineering. The role covers hiring, OKRs, career development and technical direction for a long-tail behavioral testing suite, plus work with planner, perception, safety and simulation groups on the collision avoidance testing framework. Requirements include 4+ years of management, 10+ years in industry, a bachelor's degree and basic Python or C++ fluency. Onsite in Mountain View or San Francisco.
