Wayve is hiring a Tech Lead for Remote Assist within its Robotaxi programme, based in its London office. The role owns the architecture and roadmap for remote assistance — onboard integration, offboard services and operator tooling — plus the vehicle-to-operator contract covering data, authority limits, fallback behaviour and failure handling. It sets latency and reliability targets and feeds remote assistance into the L4 safety case. Wayve asks for staff-level experience in real-time, safety-critical systems such as AV, robotics, teleoperation, aerospace or medical devices, and a track record of leading cross-team technical roadmaps.
