Scale AI's Human Frontier Collective recruits STEM Fellows for a fully remote, six-month 1099 contract that can be extended. Fellows design domain-specific problems and datasets used to evaluate generative AI models, interpret model behavior, and give expert feedback on accuracy and reasoning; they may co-author technical reports with Scale's research team. Applicants should be PhDs, postdocs or professors in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, humanities or a related field, authorized to work in the United States. Fellows set their own schedule, working 10–40 hours a week.
