Anthropic's Cloud Inference team runs Claude's serving stack across AWS, GCP and Azure. The engineer designs and owns backend services that adapt inference to each provider's hardware, networking and APIs, builds validation and deployment pipelines for new model versions, and works on capacity planning, autoscaling and request routing. It asks for distributed-systems experience, work on at least one major cloud, Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code familiarity, and collaboration with internal teams and cloud partners. Inference experience is not required; Python or Rust is preferred. Staff and senior levels are open.
