Anthropic is hiring a staff-level or above software engineer to work on the storage systems behind its multi-cloud blob storage, which holds training data, CI artifacts, sandboxes and inference inputs. The work spans storage architecture, replication and erasure coding, consistency and metadata, security, migrations, SLOs and on-call, with hands-on coding in C++, Rust, Go or Java. Candidates need production experience operating a large distributed storage system and leading cross-org infrastructure work. Staff are expected in an office at least 25% of the time.
