Waymo's Systems Engineering team seeks a staff engineer to build the software that tests its autonomous vehicles' collision avoidance. The person will architect scalable test systems, design APIs with the simulation team, integrate simulation technology into the collision avoidance testing framework, automate test quality checks, and mentor junior engineers. The posting asks for a computer science degree, ten or more years of software engineering, strong C++ and Python, and demonstrated architecture and technical leadership.
