Anthropic's Caching team, inside its Databases organization, is hiring experienced engineers to build a managed caching service from scratch. The work covers a managed Redis fleet sized for millions of Claude users, client libraries, CDC-driven cache invalidation, and multi-cloud operation across GCP, AWS and first-party deployments, plus latency, hit-rate and cost tuning. The posting wants deep distributed-systems and Redis or Memcached experience, a systems language such as Go, Rust, Java or C++, and a record of leading large infrastructure projects. AI/ML infrastructure background is not required.
