Anthropic is hiring a staff-level software engineer for its Access Programs team, which controls who may use its advanced model capabilities. The engineer builds identity verification systems, access control that grants, scopes and revokes capabilities by approved use case, per-customer safety thresholds, misuse monitoring and enforcement tooling, and account-takeover detection and remediation. The posting asks for production backend experience, strong coding, cross-functional work with policy and enforcement teams, and ideally a trust-and-safety background.
