Wayve is hiring a Staff Robotics Engineer to lead onboard localisation, designing and productionising state-estimation systems that fuse GNSS, IMU and wheel-odometry signals, with scope for camera, RADAR and LiDAR measurements. Work spans architecture and roadmap ownership, algorithm development through deployment on real-time vehicle platforms, fault handling, and validation using ground-truth benchmarks and regression testing. This senior individual-contributor role includes mentoring and cross-team work with robotics, calibration, controls, sensors and embedded software. Requirements include sensor-fusion expertise, Kalman-family filters and factor graphs, production robotics experience, modern C++ and Python.
