The Ads Foundational Representations team at Reddit builds embeddings and signals describing ads, posts, users and other core entities. The staff engineer sets technical direction across several of the team's areas — multimodal content embeddings, knowledge graph embeddings, user intent modelling, and LLM/VLM-based representations — and spends about half the time on hands-on analysis, modelling and pipeline work.
