Shield AI is hiring a Staff Engineering Specialist for its Avionics Engineering team in Seattle, on-site, to support development of the X-BAT aircraft. The team is designing a flight-critical, custom avionics system covering communications, compute, AI, power, telemetry and other aircraft systems. The role supports the avionics team and other cross-functional groups, spanning design, verification, procurement, manufacturing and test. It is a broad role across the whole avionics lifecycle rather than one narrow specialty.
