Shield AI is hiring a Staff Engineer for Modelling and Simulation in Melbourne, on-site. The role leads work on simulation capabilities for Hivemind Mission Autonomy programs in Australia. The person will architect, implement and maintain high-performance simulation environments that run in real time or faster, used by autonomy, perception and systems engineering teams to design, test and demonstrate uncrewed aircraft mission autonomy. The job includes technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration and delivery of simulation frameworks for customer programs and internal R&D.
