Anthropic is hiring a staff engineer to own the full operational life of servers in its datacenters — provisioning, deployment, maintenance, repair, refresh and decommissioning — and to build the automation and tooling that track fleet health and configuration. The role works closely with infrastructure security on trusted compute standards, including secure boot, attestation and firmware verification, and with networking on site connectivity. Candidates need hands-on server hardware experience, lifecycle management knowledge, one programming language, and Kubernetes or cloud familiarity. Preferred: eight years, GPU accelerator operations, and hyperscaler experience.
