Google is hiring a staff-level software developer for its Cloud Applied AI group, which works on Gemini Enterprise. The developer is embedded with a small number of large customers, designing, co-developing and deploying custom conversational AI agents, debugging them in production, writing bespoke tooling and sometimes contributing back to the core product. The posting asks for eight years of software testing and launch experience, five years in an ML specialty such as speech, reinforcement learning or ML infrastructure, plus familiarity with LLMs and multi-modal models.
