Monzo's Borrowing Analytics Engineering team is hiring a staff-level analytics engineer to shape how the borrowing domain builds and uses data. The work covers architecting models across 12+ products and 1,700+ datasets, defining governed data products with contracts, SLAs and ownership, building reusable feature layers that feed models, dashboards and decisioning, and shaping tooling for an 80-plus-person credit and data organisation. It reports to the Borrowing Data Director and has no direct reports. The posting asks for depth in dbt at scale, BigQuery or similar, CI/CD for data, testing frameworks and orchestration. Pay is £121,600–£164,600 plus incentive awards.
