Modal is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy for its largest enterprise accounts. The work covers technical discovery with platform, ML, DevOps and infrastructure teams, migration plans from AWS, GCP or Azure to Modal's serverless platform, proof-of-concept design, security and procurement reviews, and product feedback. The posting wants five or more years in solutions or sales engineering, depth in cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems and ML/AI infrastructure, and enterprise deals above $250K ACV. Up to 30% travel; Python experience preferred.
