Google is hiring a mid-level software engineer for its AI Applications and Agents team, which works to make Google Distributed Cloud a leading on-premise cloud for agentic AI. Duties include designing, developing and testing user-facing AI applications, building components and services for the GDC Agent Platform (APIs, SDKs, integrations), and improving the AI developer experience through tooling and documentation. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, two years of software development, and experience building and deploying generative AI agents. Work is on-site in Sunnyvale.
