Waymo is hiring a software engineer for its Warsaw office to work on onboard software for its autonomous driving system. The role involves building software that imports and selects vehicle data, making systems resilient to hardware failures, and reducing CPU use and heat. The engineer works with systems engineers, hardware engineers and product teams. Requirements are a computer science degree or equivalent experience, five or more years in backend or infrastructure work, and distributed systems experience; C++, hardware proximity and deep debugging are preferred.
