OpenAI's API Frontiers team is hiring a backend software engineer in New York City or San Francisco, hybrid. The role builds and operates the services behind the Responses API: API behavior, staged rollouts, agent workflow features such as task delegation and parallel execution, and reliability across streaming, timeouts and cancellation.
