Wayve's Robotics team is hiring a Sensing Systems Engineer in Sunnyvale to own the sensing subsystem across its vehicle platforms. The work covers writing measurable requirements for perception and localization sensors, validating sensor and calibration performance, setting benchmarks for vehicle bring-up, and assessing how sensing quality affects model performance. Wayve asks for five or more years in autonomous systems, robotics or automotive, hands-on work with camera, LiDAR or radar, familiarity with IMU, GNSS and wheel odometry, and coordination across hardware, software, ML and product teams.
