Zoox's ML Platform team is hiring a senior or staff software engineer to make the models behind its autonomous robotaxis faster and more efficient. The work covers the base layer of ML tooling, model development and serving systems used by autonomy teams in perception, prediction, planning, simulation and collision avoidance. The posting names distributed training, quantization, distillation and pruning, plus recent accelerator hardware. The engineer supports applied research teams on in-vehicle and off-vehicle use cases, and the posting notes growth as robotaxi deployments expand. The role is on-site in Foster City.
