Shield AI is hiring a senior staff engineer to develop, integrate, test and deploy autonomy software in Ukraine. The work spans writing and debugging software, fitting autonomy onto fixed-wing, multirotor and other unmanned systems, troubleshooting in laboratory and field settings, and supporting live flight operations, demonstrations and deployments. The posting wants a hands-on engineer who moves between software, hardware, aircraft systems and flight operations, shows strong ownership and acts quickly. It is a field role based mainly in the Lviv region, with occasional travel elsewhere in Ukraine.
