Shield AI is hiring a senior staff engineer to serve as the systems-integration authority for Hivemind, its autonomy software, running on unmanned and robotic platforms. The work spans architecture discussions, benchtop integration, lab troubleshooting, field tests and customer demonstrations, and touches onboard compute, networking, radios, sensors and flight controllers. The posting wants a hands-on builder and operator who can evaluate representative platforms, weigh integration tradeoffs, diagnose cross-disciplinary faults and feed field lessons back into engineering, test and operational practice. The role is onsite in San Diego, California.
