One of the first hires on Harvey's central data platform team, building shared systems rather than a one-off pipeline queue. The work spans streaming, batch and CDC ingestion into Snowflake, orchestration, transformation and compute frameworks, self-serve pipeline tooling, stream processing, and the quality, lineage and governance layers that make data trustworthy. PII handling and multi-region residency are treated as design constraints. The posting asks for 5+ years running production data infrastructure, deep Snowflake experience, CDC and streaming tools, large-scale orchestration systems, and strong Python and SQL, plus judgement about when other engineers will use an abstraction.
