Zoox is hiring a senior software engineer for the team that owns the build infrastructure behind its autonomous driving software. The work centres on a Bazel-based build system in a large, multi-language monorepo used by hundreds of engineers: configuring and upgrading compilers, profiling and speeding up build pipelines, and acting as the main point of contact for build questions. A remote build farm and cache already exist, and the aim is to improve the developer experience further with metrics and tooling. Hybrid, Foster City. No salary or visa details.
