Roku is hiring a senior software engineer to design and integrate AI tooling — large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, Model Context Protocol — into core engineering workflows, covering retrieval design, model orchestration, and safety guardrails. The role also sets standards for data validation and anomaly detection, automated quality gates, code and design reviews, mentoring, incident triage, and roadmap planning with platform, UI, product, data and QA teams.
