Zoox is hiring a senior software development engineer in test for its System Design and Mission Assurance group. The role leads end-to-end validation for safety-critical autonomous driving systems and builds software for realistic testing, automation at scale, and data analysis. Work includes C++ and Python sensor emulators for radar, lidar, and IMUs, simulation-to-hardware communication, fault injection, and test reporting in lifecycle tools such as Polarion, JAMA, and DOORS. The work is code-heavy and hybrid in Foster City, California.
