Nebius, an AI cloud provider, is hiring a senior SRE for its DevTools team. The person maintains and improves internal developer tooling: TeamCity handling 25,000 builds a day, 100 TB of Artifactory artifacts, and a large GitLab monorepo, modifying open- and closed-source systems. The job splits SRE and software engineering evenly, mainly in Java/Kotlin, Go, Python and Ruby, and expects Unix and JVM internals knowledge. The team runs its own RAG setup and is working out how to operate with agents. Coding interviews are part of the process.
