Google is hiring a senior research scientist for an on-site role in Singapore, on AI safety and security. The work covers machine learning foundations of trustworthy AI: model robustness, continual learning, interpretability and multiobjective optimization, plus evaluation benchmarks and datasets for frontier models. Requirements include a PhD or equivalent experience, two years leading a research agenda, machine learning or adversarial machine learning work, and at least one publication. Preferred experience covers agent security, data poisoning, prompt injection and red-teaming; collaboration with academic and engineering partners and publishing are expected.
