Firmus is hiring a Senior Power Systems SCADA and Controls Engineer for its AI infrastructure in Launceston, Tasmania. The role builds and supports SCADA, HMI, telemetry and control logic for MV, HV and EHV electrical infrastructure. The engineer translates grid connection requirements into Firmus-side control schemes and works with HPC and AI platform teams to integrate Model-to-Grid controls with AI workload management. The posting seeks power systems SCADA, substation and grid connection experience, with Ignition SCADA and SEL platforms desirable. Prior AI or data centre experience is not essential.
