Nebius AI R&D is hiring senior- and staff-level ML engineers for applied research on agentic systems: reinforcement learning for reasoning models, guided search, web-scale data collection for agent training, and model distillation. Day to day means running experiments training large language models on traces of interaction with environments, mining data at web scale for post-training, and testing reinforcement-learning configurations in verifiable and non-verifiable domains. The posting asks for deep machine-learning and reinforcement-learning theory, experience training large models across multiple compute nodes, strong Python and JAX skills, and statistical rigor in experiment design.
