Shield AI is hiring a senior manager to lead its Guidance and Control team, which owns the control and autonomy algorithms in the V-BAT code base. The team runs the full lifecycle: algorithm development, software design and coding, unit and component tests, flight software qualification and flight test support. The manager negotiates workshare with the Hivemind autonomy, state estimation, simulation, aerodynamics and embedded software teams. The role combines team leadership with full lifecycle ownership of flight software.
