Amazon is hiring a Senior Manager, Applied Science to build and lead the applied science organization for Agentic WorkSpaces, spanning Personal, Applications, Core, WS4Builders and WorkSpaces for Agents. The role sets the research agenda for measuring and improving AI agents and human-AI teams — benchmarks, task suites and metrics such as accuracy, cost-per-task and task completion — and moves models, evaluation and learning systems from prototype into a long-running production service. It covers hiring, mentoring and retaining applied scientists, aligning with partner teams, and presenting to VP-level leadership and enterprise customers. Onsite in Seattle, full-time.
