Waymo is hiring a senior machine learning engineer for Vehicle Interaction & Behavior Policy ML, working between perception and planning. The job: train, evaluate and release learned driving policies for navigation and yielding, run them in closed-loop simulation against safety metrics, and help move the stack from rule-based heuristics to learned policies.
