Waymo's Simulator team builds simulated environments for testing and training the Waymo Driver, using machine learning to model agents, roads, traffic control and weather. The London team will work with groups in Mountain View and Oxford on foundation models for simulation. Duties include designing experiments, developing realism metrics, training and evaluating large models, integrating them into the simulator, and hiring.
