Firmus is hiring a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to run the Kubernetes estate behind its AI infrastructure, spanning every site. The role covers the platform controller layer, virtual clusters tenants are provisioned onto, Kubernetes baselines, the GPU integration layer, and automated tenant onboarding. Day to day: cluster lifecycle work, control plane recovery including etcd and certificate rotation, GPU operator and scheduling issues, plus automation and guarded remediation. Required: 8+ years, deep production Kubernetes and controller-writing experience, GitOps and Go, Python or Bash, on-call escalation. Distinctive is fleet-scale AI infrastructure and hands-on incident leadership.
