Nscale, which runs a GPU cloud for AI, is hiring a senior infrastructure engineer to own its bare metal provisioning platform, centred on OpenStack Ironic. The work covers hardware discovery, enrolment, provisioning, cleaning and deprovisioning; integrations with Nova, Neutron, Glance, Keystone and Placement; automation with Ansible, Python and Bash; and third- or fourth-line escalation for provisioning and hardware faults, including on-call. The posting wants deep Ironic knowledge, PXE/iPXE and Redfish/IPMI experience, and ideally upstream open-source contributions. Roles are listed across several European countries, on-site.
