Nebius is hiring a senior engineer for the hypervisor team behind its AI cloud platform. The work is on QEMU/KVM: optimizing I/O for emulated disk and network devices, distributing resources across virtual machines, integrating the hypervisor with platform services and storage for user data, hardening the hypervisor and emulator against untrusted code, and pushing changes upstream with the open-source community. The posting asks for five or more years of software engineering, fluent C, three years with Linux, three years with QEMU/KVM, and x86 internals knowledge. Accepted Linux or QEMU patches are a bonus. Based in Prague or remote in Europe.
