Wayve is hiring a Senior Field Engineer in Detroit, on-site, to be the top escalation point for vehicle software and hardware faults in its autonomous-driving fleet. The role covers triage, diagnosis and repair sign-off, mentoring other field engineers, standing in for the Field Engineering Lead, and owning projects that fix recurring fleet issues. It asks for hands-on diagnostics experience in fleet, automotive, robotics or ADAS settings, familiarity with tools such as Datadog, Mender and Jira, and willingness to work shifts, including weekends, in a 24/7 global support setup.
