Shield AI's Simulation Framework Team is hiring a senior engineer to write C++ and Python for its modeling and simulation environments. The work covers adapters, plugins and reusable software layers that keep simulation detail out of the core autonomy stack, spanning backends such as NGTS, AFSIM, Aechelon and HMSSimBlocks. A main task is migrating HMSSimBlocks capabilities to the emerging Hivemind Simulation Framework while keeping backward compatibility. The engineer supports integration teams by diagnosing framework, plugin and interface problems, and no people management is involved.
