Roku is hiring a senior data engineer into its Viewer Product Device and Themed Experiences team in Manchester, part of the wider Data Engineering group. The job covers batch and streaming pipelines handling tens of terabytes daily over a petabyte-scale warehouse, data modelling, data quality and tuning large production clusters. Requirements include strong SQL, Python, an object-oriented language, big data tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka or Airflow, and a computer science degree. Roku also expects familiarity with coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor.
