A senior backend role on GitLab's External Agents team, part of the AI Catalog group, building integrations that connect GitLab agents with Slack, Claude Code, Codex and similar tools. The work covers Ruby on Rails features in the GitLab monolith, GraphQL and REST APIs, RSpec-based testing, Tier 2 on-call and observability. Applicants should have production Rails experience, API design skills, strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, and prior work on AI-powered backend features.
